We have all been following the regular updates regarding the coronavirus. As the children of God, we are grateful to know that our sovereign God is in complete control, and is actively involved in His world today just as He has always been. We choose to trust His sovereign plans and purposes.

We also choose to love our neighbor by making wise decisions that promote the health and safety of our Bible community and the broader community as well. We encourage all of us to carefully follow the guidelines we have been given to help mitigate the spread of this deadly virus.

Bible continues the suspension of all services and activities. Even though we are separated physically, we have several opportunities to stay connected.

SUNDAY WORSHIP – We will continue to worship our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday mornings at 9:45am via Livestream.

SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY – The pastoral staff will be recording weekly bible studies, which will be uploaded each Sunday to biblebaptistministries.org for you to view at your leisure.

WEDNESDAY PRAYER MEETING – Join us each Wednesday for prayer meetings via Zoom. Contact the church office at info@biblebaptistministries.org for a link.

ABS GROUPS – Our Adult Bible Study groups will meet regularly via Zoom for fellowship to help us maintain strong connections. Contact your ABS shepherd for details.

TEENS – Pastor Evan will meet with the teens via Zoom each Sunday (11am) and Wednesday (7pm).

CHILDREN – Sunday school teachers will reach out to the children to connect with them. AWANA participants may say sections to their parents as they work toward finishing their books this year.

OFFICES – Our church office and campus is closed until further notice.

GIVING – Tithes and offerings may be given online at biblebaptistministries.org or by mail: Bible Baptist Church, 2724 Margaret Wallace Rd., Matthews, NC 28105.

Please pray for our community and our world as many have been infected by COVID-19 and many others are grieving the loss of loved ones who have succumbed to the virus. Pray also for our President and government leaders as they interpret data and seek to lead our country through these difficult days. Ultimately, our hope is in the Lord, and we trust in Him.
