Sunrise Service

This Easter Sunday we celebrated Christ's resurrection with our 7 am Sunrise Service. Besides singing songs about the resurrection, several people shared testimonies about why the resurrection is so meaningful to them. Following the Sunrise Service, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before going into our 10 AM Sunday school hour.

U.F.O. Sunday

This past Sunday was our first U.F.O. (Unusual Fellowship Opportunity) of 2010. Right after the morning service ended, we went to the gym to enjoy a wonderful meal of soup and baked potatoes. Many people pitched in to make this a successful fellowship. We had around 30 crockpots going at the same time to keep the delicious soups warm during the service! Praise the Lord for the joy of fellowship with other believers!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service took us from the Babe in the manger to the Christ of the cross through song and Scripture reading. The service concluded with the singing of “Silent Night” by the congregation. What a wonder that we can celebrate at Christmas God’s gift of His only begotten Son sent to die for us that we might have eternal life!

Christmas Cantata

On Sunday, December 13, the choir presented the cantata entitled "The Mystery of Christmas." Pastor Fox conducted the choir, and Verna Clark directed the drama. Throughout the cantata, the Gospel was presented clearly. The mystery of Christmas is the wonder that Jesus would come as a man to die for our sins!
