Ron Fox, born in Greenville, South Carolina, was raised in a loving Christian home. Ron’s parents were faithful and very active in church music ministries which taught Ron a love for the Lord and a love for music at a very young age. He was saved at the age of six in Garland, Texas, and was active in his dad’s music ministries throughout his childhood. Ron graduated from Southside Christian School of Greenville, SC in 1976, and went on to Bob Jones University majoring in music education with a minor in history. He graduated from the University in 1981, and earned his masters in music education in 2002.

Pastor Fox met his wife, Beth, in 1975 when they were both a part of the youth group at Southside Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina. Beth was raised by her mom who worked at Miracle Hill Children’s Home in Pickens, SC. She graduated from high school in 1977. Beth attended Bob Jones University and received her degree in music education in 1982. Ron and Beth were married May 20, 1981. The Lord has blessed the Foxes with five children: Nikki, Karri, Levi, Kelli, and Malachi. The Fox family has produced a fully orchestrated music recording that includes vocal, piano, and brass arrangements.

After graduation, Pastor Fox taught private music lessons at Southside Christian School in Greenville, SC, before the Lord moved their family to Tabernacle Baptist Church and School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was the church music director, as well as a history teacher in the school and director of the junior and senior high choirs, and the band at all levels. The Lord sent Ron and Beth to two other ministries, where they grew the music programs in both the church and the school, before bringing them to Bible Baptist Church in August of 2004. Ron is an accomplished choral and instrumental conductor and arranger. Orchestrating arrangements of vocal, choral and other instrumental music is his favorite area of the music ministry. His wife, Beth, is an accomplished pianist and vocalist, and a great help to her husband’s ministry.

Pastor Fox’s desire for the music ministry at Bible Baptist Church is to assist the entire congregation in worshipping God through music, and to develop the musical skills of young people and adults for God’s service.
